Nepal—I am Kedar Kumari Giri, a 68-year-old man. I come from the village of Sangachok in central Nepal.
When I was 20 years old, an evil spirit possessed me. Despite visiting numerous sages and shamans, I couldn’t get rid of it. I spent much money on treatments and sacrifices, but nothing made a lasting difference. Whenever the devil possessed me, I’d faint and not remember anything until the shamans treated me.
As time passed, I married and had four daughters and one son. The shamans continued to treat me, but the devil wouldn’t leave me alone.
In 2020, my Christian neighbors called leaders from a local Adventist church to pray for me. They told me about Jesus and how He could free people from evil spirits. I felt better after prayers, but the devil would start to shake me after I went to church.
In 2021, I accepted Jesus as my Savior, and He completely freed me from the devil that had tormented me for 40 years. I was baptized in 2023. I’m the only one in my family who believes in Jesus, and I pray that my family will also come to know Him and be saved.
