Mrs. Zhivha is an amputee. Her husband has no physical challenges. The couple hoped to inspire others by sharing their love story on social media. Unfortunately, many people assumed that Mr. Zhivha’s love couldn’t be genuine because his wife was disabled. The couple, disappointed by the negative comments, continued to grow in their love for each other.
Last year, Bible worker Vava Tryson invited the Zhivhas to speak as part of a Possibility Ministries Sabbath. The couple’s heartfelt testimony touched church members and special needs guests as they told how they did everything normal families do and how their love had grown. Mrs. Zhivha is grateful for the influence of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as it encourages people through its special needs ministry.
